A satisfying scratch, a luxurious stretch and the perfect place for a catnap!
Meet the Lounge, a beautifully crafted cardboard cat scratcher that doubles as a comfortable resting spot for your feline friend.
Handmade in Peterborough, England, using premium five-layer corrugated cardboard and a stylish wooden surround, the Lounge combines natural scratching enjoyment with an elegant, furniture-inspired design.
Its gently curved surface rises at both ends, giving your cat plenty of room to stretch out and scratch, while the shallow dip in the middle creates a cosy place to curl up and relax.
At 70cm long, it's a wonderful everyday scratcher for most adult cats, providing a dedicated place to scratch, lounge and snooze without taking over your living room.
Designed for Scratching, Stretching & Snoozing
Cats love a good scratch, but they're equally enthusiastic about finding somewhere comfortable to settle down afterwards!
The Lounge brings both activities together in one clever design.
- Scratch: The generously sized corrugated cardboard surface provides a satisfying texture for claw maintenance.
- Stretch: Raised ends offer different scratching angles and plenty of space for a satisfying stretch.
- Snooze: The gently curved centre creates a comfortable resting spot that cradles your cat as they relax.
Unlike a hollow scratching tunnel, the Lounge has a solid construction throughout, providing a substantial and stable surface for everyday use.
Handmade in Britain with Care
Not all cardboard cat scratchers are created equal!
Every Lounge is individually cut, assembled and finished by hand in a workshop in Peterborough, England.
Made using dense five-layer corrugated cardboard, a wooden surround and water-based glue, it's designed to offer excellent durability while looking rather smart in your home.
The wooden sides are available in three finishes — brown, white or black — allowing you to choose a style that complements your interior.
With its understated appearance and flowing curves, the Lounge looks more like a piece of contemporary cat furniture than an ordinary cardboard scratching board.
Why Cats Love Corrugated Cardboard
There's a good reason cats are naturally drawn to cardboard scratching surfaces.
The textured layers provide just enough resistance for claws to grip, creating a satisfying scratching experience.
Scratching is an important part of normal feline behaviour, helping cats maintain their claws, stretch their muscles and leave familiar scent marks around their territory.
Providing an appealing scratching surface can also encourage cats to direct their scratching away from sofas, carpets and other household furniture.
The Lounge features a reversible scratching deck, allowing you to turn the cardboard over when one side becomes worn and make use of the second surface.
A Comfortable Lounger for Everyday Catnaps
Cats have an impressive ability to find the most comfortable spot in the house, and the Lounge might just become their new favourite!
Its flowing shape creates a shallow, supportive curve that offers a pleasant place to settle down.
Corrugated cardboard also provides some natural insulation, helping retain warmth around your cat as they relax.
At approximately 2.4kg, the Lounge has a reassuringly substantial construction, helping it remain stable during enthusiastic scratching sessions.
Whether placed beside the sofa, in a quiet bedroom or near a favourite sunny window, it provides a dedicated little retreat for your cat to enjoy throughout the day.

Choosing the Right Size
The Lounge is a versatile everyday scratcher designed for most adult cats.
Its 70cm length offers more stretching and lounging space than the smaller Snug, making it a good choice for cats that enjoy relaxing on their scratching furniture.
For kittens and particularly small cats, the Snug offers a more compact alternative.
If your cat prefers an enclosed space, the Pavilion combines a scratching deck with a sheltered tunnel underneath.
For particularly large cats or breeds such as Maine Coons and Ragdolls, consider one of the larger designs in the range.
As a general guide, choose a scratching surface that allows your cat to stretch comfortably, considering both their body length and preferred sleeping position.
Care & Maintenance
Place the Lounge on a stable, dry surface in an area where your cat enjoys spending time.
Remove loose cardboard fragments as necessary. Some shedding is normal as cats scratch and gradually wear down the surface.
When the upper scratching surface becomes worn, turn over the reversible cardboard deck to make use of the second scratching surface.
Keep the Lounge dry and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, which may weaken the cardboard.
Inspect regularly for damage or excessive wear and replace when necessary.
Please note: As each Lounge is handmade, minor variations in finish may occur. The lifespan of the scratching surface will depend on your cat's individual scratching habits and frequency of use.
